Tirumala Engineering College Guntur is a private engineering college which was founded in the year 2008 by Thirumala Milk Products Pvt. Ltd., an entrepreneurial marvel. The institute is known to impart and foster technical education. TEC is a non-minority, self-financed institute and is affiliated to JNTU-K (Kakinada). It is a preferred destination for students and career-conscious faulty of the state.

The college is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution. TEC Jonnalagadda is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to JNTU-K (Kakinada). The courses offered at TEC Guntur are accredited by NBA and NAAC. Tirumala Engineering College (TEC) is governed by a Governing Body that takes care of the overall monitoring and development of the college. 

Tirumala Engineering College Guntur offers a variety of undergraduate courses in the stream of engineering. The college provides 4-year B.Tech degree in 5 specializations such as Civil, Mechanical, EEE, ECE and CSE. Apart from that, TEC Guntur also offers MCA course which is of 3 years duration.

Admission in UG courses of Tirumala Engineering College Guntur is based on merit in the 12th class examinations and students with a valid AP-EAMCET score. For admission in PG course, a candidate should have passed a bachelor’s degree and should have secured a valid rank in AP-ICET exam.

TEC Jonnalagadda has hostel facility provided separately for boys and girls. Canteen is available for faculty and students which serves a variety of cuisines at affordable rates. There are separate playfields for boys and girls as well.
